Lay Ministry Collective Spring Enrichment Save the Date!
Saturday April 18, 2026 - Spring Enrichment "Our Social Witness"- full day stand-alone session as well as conclusion of Spring session on Lay Ministry School and conferring Certification to new Certified Lay Ministers.

We ask all GMC of SC Finance Committee Chairs, Finance Secretaries, and Treasurers to attend one of the two meetings. It is recommend all Finance Committees join as they are able.

Guest Speaker - Dr. Chris Lohrstorfer from Wesley Biblical Seminary. He resides in Raymond, Mississippi with his wife Mary and their two teenagers, Diana and Nicolas. He has served as Senior Pastor at Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond since 1997 and has been actively involved in higher education for 25 years, both as a teacher and an administrator.
During lunch, Carolyn Marlow, prayer coordinator for the Jacob Ebersole Evangelistic Ministry, will speak. Jacob joined us during lunch at the last Clergy Renewal meeting.
The $11 registration fee includes lunch. Please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions.

Get ready, 2026 Summer Serve registration is now OPEN!
This summer, the GMC of SC, in partnership with 4 locations across the state, will host Summer Serve camps for our students. This is a great opportunity to provide a service option for students and their adult leaders, while also serving with local GMC churches and local partners. The dates and locations we’re offering for Summer 2026 are as follows:
o Holy City Missions Summer Serve Camp 1– Aldersgate Methodist Church, N. Charleston, SC (June 13th-20th)
o Holy City Missions Summer Serve Camp 2 – Aldersgate Methodist Church, N. Charleston, SC (July 11th-18th) CAMP WEEK IS FULL
o Pee Dee-Dillon Harvest Summer Serve Camp – Main Street GMC and - Dillon, SC (July 11th-18th)
o Upstate Summer Serve Camp - Covenant Church, Greer, SC (July 25th-August 1st)
o Midlands Summer Serve Camp - Wightman Methodist Church, Prosperity, SC (July 25th-August 1st)
Behold 2026
Gather with us for BEHOLD, the GMC of SC Annual Conference that is full of Biblical teaching, passionate worship, and encouragement from other believers across the state. BEHOLD has been designed for church members, leaders, and all interested in growing in their love for God and others. The GMC of SC invites you to attend BEHOLD, which will be held Thursday, August 6 (clergy only), Friday, August 7 - Saturday, August 8, 2026 (open to everyone) at Southern Wesleyan University, 907 Wesleyan Dr., Central, SC 29630.
