The Children’s Ministry Collective exists to encourage, equip, and resource ministry leaders across the Global Methodist Church of South Carolina who are reaching the next generation with the Gospel. Through regional trainings, retreats, conferences, and statewide events, we help leaders grow in their ability to plan, lead, teach, and disciple children effectively. Our collective creates space for collaboration, idea-sharing, and spiritual renewal, ensuring no leader walks alone. Whether you're new to children’s ministry or a seasoned veteran, this community is designed to support and strengthen your calling.

We’re thrilled to invite confirmands and their leaders from across the Global Methodist Church of South Carolina to our first-ever state-wide Confirmation Retreat! Held at the beautiful Gravatt Camp and Conference Center!
Designed for students of all ages and at any stage of their church’s confirmation journey - whether you’re just getting started in March or nearing the finish line - this retreat will provide a shared experience that deepens understanding, builds connection, and strengthens commitment. Together, we’ll explore what it means to say "yes" to Jesus Christ, to the Church, and to a lifetime of discipleship in the Global Methodist tradition.
Throughout the weekend, confirmands will:
Discover the deeper meaning behind our membership vows.
Reflect on faith as a journey, not a destination.
Learn how confirmation is not the end, but the beginning of a vibrant, Spirit-empowered life in Christ.
Engage in dynamic worship, large group teaching, small group discussions, games, small groups, FUN, and meaningful moments of community with other students from around the state.
This retreat is designed to complement your local confirmation process - not replace it. Whether your students are taking their first steps or preparing for Confirmation Sunday, this retreat will unify, inspire, and equip them to live boldly for Christ.
